The Way of Transforming Discipleship
A Small-Group Experience in Spiritual Formation

WHAT: An opportunity to explore and experience the central elements in the journey of discipleship that follows the way of Jesus Christ. Participants will engage in daily private reflection and draw upon the resources of a small group for deeper exploration. The materials that will provide guidance are part of the Companions in Christ series. Previous participation in a Companions experience is not a prerequisite.

    PRAYER CHAIN
The Christian Education Committee is considering putting in place an email prayer chain in addition to the current telephone prayer chain. The first step in this consideration is whether there are members of the congregation who are currently not involved in the prayer chain who would be interested in the email prayer chain. Please call or email the office or email Joyce if you are interested in this new ministry. Thank you.

Sign up sheets are located on the bulletin board outside the nursery.
Volunteers are also needed to serve as substitute back-up for childcare workers in case of illness or family emergency.

       COMMUNION
       VOLUNTEERS

The Worship Committee is seeking individuals to assist with the monthly preparation of Communion. They would like to have a small group of individuals who could share the responsibility, and a schedule will be established from those willing to help. A brief training session will be conducted for those who have not assisted before and those who want a refresher. If interested and willing, please contact the office.

   INKJET CARTRIDGE
        RECYLING

Please continue to save your empty inkjet cartridges for the youth at FBC. The collection box is located in the north hallway, near the kitchen. See the collection box for details regarding acceptable cartridges. All proceeds from the collection will help with the FBC youth trips. Thank you for your continued support.
