 The youth trip is just around the corner and we still need about $1500 to get all 9 people there and back. There are 2 special events already scheduled for you to be involved in. The first is June 21st, the Annual Car Wash at the church. The second is Monical’s Pizza on July 1st. So, put it on your calendar. Come out and get your car washed, eat some pizza and have some fun. Or...if you can’t make the events, a general donation is always welcome.

LOVE LIFTERS MINISTRY
Transportation
We have many volunteers assisting with transportation and other needs for our senior members. Give us a call at 662-5088 if you need to go to the market, pharmacy, medical facility, post office, etc. There is no charge for this service.         
 “Lite” Maintenance
 We have several new Love Lifters willing to do small tasks around your home. Give us a call at 662-5088 if you need assistance. No job too small. There is no charge for the service-just the materials used, if any.

How you can help
Love Lifters, a name to be used in reference to the former Senior Adults is a ministry for anyone ages 55 or better. However, all ages are welcome to the opportunities to experience real love by showing others that we care.

This service for example will include availability to seniors of transportation to shopping, doctor’s office, pharmacy, etc. Also included will be visits to friends, those who are ill, family, etc. and for comfort.
The first general meeting for Love Lifters will be August 17 at 12:00 Noon at the church. In addition to lunch and a program, details will be given about the Service Ministry. We hope all Love Lifters will attend this meeting. Watch for a letter and bulletin announcements about this extended ministry.

      

RECYCLING FOR FAMILIES
HELP NEEDED!

 Recycling for Families, a faith-based organization, is in need of volunteers physically able to assist with furniture deliveries. Help is especially needed from 9:00-12:00 on Saturday mornings. Ideally, two individuals would sign up to deliver furniture one Saturday each month. Please call 530-8845 to volunteer or if you need more information.
