HEARING WELL IN THE SANCTUARY Did you know that we have wireless hearing units? These devices can be picked up each Sunday from the sound console on the North wall. You can sit wherever you wish in the sanctuary, have an individual volume control, and use either over the ear headphones or a single earbud. We just purchased several more of the units so now have extras. Feel free to stop by any Sunday morning if you would like to see how they work or give one a try.
You might also be interested to know that our sanctuary speaker system does not provide consistent levels for all seats. Depending on where you sit, you may experience differing volumes or more importantly, inconsistent clarity. We find it is best closest to the center aisle about one-half the way back while the west seating wing has the least speaker coverage. We will do our best to provide the best sound each week but trying new areas might also help you find the best seat for you.

STEPHEN MINISTRY IS OUR MINISTRY
Stephen Ministry is an important new way in which we care for one another at First Baptist. Our newly commissioned Stephen Ministers are equipped and ready to share Christ’s care not just during the “big” crises, but also in the little ones. If you are going through a difficult time, consider having a Stephen Minister. If you know someone else who is facing difficulties, suggest that they request Stephen Ministry. To learn more about Stephen Ministry or to see if Stephen Ministry might be right for you, contact the pastor (662-4253), who serves as our Referrals Coordinator. Stephen Ministry belongs to you. Make use of it!

Overheard at a recent Church Board Meeting . . . Spencer asked the Board to pray about the church's need for a potential additional leader for the Stephen Ministry. The ministry is going well, but will need more leadership to continue to grow.
