GO GREEN FBC has participated in a variety of recycling efforts over the past several years. As a congregation, we routinely recycle the weekly bulletins and paper used by the church office, ink jet cartridges, and food containers used in meal preparations. However, just one glance at the daily news and it is clear that we must continue to be good stewards of God's beautiful creation.
Your help is needed to increase our recycling efforts at FBC. This fall, containers will be placed in classrooms to increase the amount of paper products that are recycled. Details will be given regarding the “Oreo Cookie Brigade” and how you can participate. Collecting recyclables is only one part of the equation. We need folks who are willing to take the collected materials to the appropriate drop off points in the community. Please help us to be “green” and sign up in the church office. See Sandi for more information.

HEARING WELL IN THE SANCTUARY Did you know that we have wireless hearing units? These devices can be picked up each Sunday from the sound console on the North wall. You can sit wherever you wish in the sanctuary, have an individual volume control, and use either over the ear headphones or a single ear bud. We just purchased several more of the units so now have extras. Feel free to stop by any Sunday morning if you would like to see how they work or give one a try.
