At First Baptist Church we have a long tradition of using music in our praise and worship of God.

Our LOGOS children and youth participate in age relevant choirs and music groups. Our children can participate in worship by performing with bell chimes.

In addition our Chancel Choir presents music most every Sunday, performing everything from traditional music to lively gospel pieces.

Our Praise Team leads us in congregational singing and many hymns are accompanied by our Praise band. Karen Collier, our director of music, and a gifted musician, plays both our pipe organ, and the Grand Piano that graces our sanctuary.

There are many opportunities for anyone that wants to sing, or can play an instrument. You can explore these opportunities with Karen anytime.

CALLING ALL MUSICIANS!  Do you play the clarinet, trumpet, violin, accordion, autoharp, piano, organ, cello, flute, etc.?  We would love to have you share your gift of music in worship.  If you would like to play with a group, please let us know and we will find a place for you!

THE FBC PRAISE TEAM is gearing up for another exciting season, as we continue building our repertoire. We are in need of a guitarist and a bass player and welcome all/any instrumentalist who would like to join us. If you are interested in joining us. We will be rehearsing on Wednesday nights after choir from 8:35-9:20 PM. and on Sunday mornings from 8:00-8:45 PM.
